Paintings are hung on the wall using metal screws to ensure stability as shown in the picture. Installation tools are given to the customer with the delivery of the painting. 

Since the metal screws have a depth, they allow for an "in-between" space between the wall and the painting giving the infamous NL "floating look"!

After ensuring the metal screw is through the wall and stable, place the hole in your painting on the screw's

Rotate well the screw cap & make sure it's stable
